The goal for Project Breathe is to educate those in our communities about the prevalence of asthma and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). We strive to teach the purpose and importance of drug therapy as well as the proper technique for inhalers and aerosolized medications. We want to provide the community with an adequate amount of knowledge so that they can recognize pertinent asthma and COPD symptoms. With the assistance of our peak flow meter, those who are interested can test their lung capacity.

Feel free to tag along with us and volunteer with Project Breathe at health fairs. These fairs are a great opportunity to get involved with the community and practice your patient care skills.
