Project Chance is an interprofessional project with representation from the Pharmacy, Medical, Dental, and Nursing programs. We
attend the Harbor Lights Homeless Shelter every Thursday from 5:45pm to 7:45pm to do blood pressure checks and educate patients
about hypertension through an interactive trivia game. We have strong collaborations with other MPSA projects to provide a greater breadth of information regarding smoking cessation, mental health, medication adherence, etc. We are looking forward to expanding our services this year as well as collect more donations as prizes for the educational games. We welcome anyone interested in becoming more involved in logistics to work with us to plan the donations drive and any fundraising events. Scheduling is flexible! We would love for you to volunteer regularly or just start by trying it once. We look forward to serving the community with you!
