More Details Operation Diabetes is looking for volunteers to help at the medical staff check-in/medication drop-off stations at the camp (4-5 volunteers each day). Check-in goes until 2:30pm, but volunteers are welcome to shadow physicians/nurses on cabin rounds after, where they dose insulin and get check blood glucose levels. Lunch will be provided. All expenses and room will be covered. Sign-up Cub Pharmacy is an organization that has a longstanding relationship with the surrounding Minneapolis/St. Paul communities and has been active with their community outreach efforts by providing a wide array of free health care-based services. They will have their own booth at the State Fair for all 12 days and they welcome pharmacy students to fill up as many shifts (each shift is 6 hours) as possible. Sign-Up We are having our first Operation Heart health fair of the school year! We are looking for volunteers from each class to fill the entire two hour shift. PD1s can help with patient intake and bone density screening, PD2s can do blood pressure, blood glucose, and cholesterol testing, and PD3s can provide medication counseling. There will be a training session (date TBD) to prepare students for the event.
